Chugai supplies several different kinds
of rivets: solid rivets and composite rivets. Chugai is a pioneer for the development of
machine made composite rivets. With the cold bond process the bond will cover 70 to 90% of
the interface between the two metals. With the Chugai new developed rivet bimetal thermal
bond (RBTB) process, the bonded area increases above 95%.
