A highly automated manufacturing
operation for production of contact and contact sub-assemblies. Different techniques, such
as welding, sticking, brazing, and cladding, are used in sub-assemblies,
and an automation ensures efficiency and product consistency. Electronic eyes and
transducers are employed in the processes to monitor quality, mistake proofing and achieve
zero defects in our finished product. Especially Chugai’s new double spinning process
keeps almost perfect sticking bound between contact and base metal. In addition Freon free
automatic ultrasonic cleaning process prevents the contact surface from contamination.
A research and development section for creating
new contact materials and designs. Chugai USA has a very strong research team,
advanced test facility, and a very good outside connections. The different projects
